Privacy policy

This notice explains how the Foundation processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller is FUNDACJA ZWIĄZKU BIAŁORUSKICH WETERANÓW, ul. Rzymowskiego 30/303, 02-697 Warszawa, Poland, KRS 0001026072, NIP 5273048215. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

Data processed when you visit the website

The website has no visitor account, contact form or on-site payment service. To deliver and protect the website, our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process technical request data such as your IP address, the requested page, date and time, browser or device information, referrer information and security events. The Foundation does not use this website to build visitor profiles.

We process such data to make the website available, maintain its security and diagnose technical problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Messages and donations

If you contact us by email, we process the address and message contents to respond and handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or another applicable basis where your request concerns a legal obligation or agreement.

The website only displays bank details and does not collect or process card or bank-transfer payments. A transfer is handled by the banks involved. Links to Instagram, Buy Me a Coffee and other external websites are governed by those services’ own privacy notices.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website code does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical or security cookies on some requests, for example when a security check is required to protect the website. These technologies are used for delivery or security, not for advertising. If optional analytics or tracking is added in the future, this notice will be updated and consent will be requested where required.

Service providers, international processing and retention

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security services and may process technical request data as a service provider. The Foundation may also use an email provider to receive and send correspondence. Because Cloudflare operates a global network, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area; applicable contractual safeguards are described in Cloudflare’s data-processing terms.

Technical logs are retained according to the relevant provider’s service, security settings and retention rules, only for as long as needed for delivery, security and troubleshooting. The Foundation does not keep a separate visitor-tracking database.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland. To exercise your rights, email [email protected].
